Mac OSX Sierra

Allow running application downloaded anywhere

The latest OSX incarnation called Sierra is moving one step further into nanny state territory by blocking running third-party apps and only allowing either applications from the App store or App store and selected developers. This is annoying. Re-enable third party apps by opening a terminal and issuing the following command:

sudo spctl --master-disable

You need to give in your password to let this command finish successfully. Now the system assessing software to be allowed to run or not is disabled and all apps will now work.
